Silke Rosso

Global Account Director
Orange Business Services

Apr 08 - Sales and ICT with Silke Rosso (Orange)

Silke’s career in Sales started part-time during her studies at the University of Oklahoma. At that time, back in 1995, it was the hardest sales school imaginable - door-to-door sales and cold calling. And she learned that sales is all about being fearless and passionate. She finished her bachelor with a major in Marketing and Psychology at OU and was offered a job in sales within the telecommunications industry back in Germany. This was an exiting time, because 1998 brought with it the deregulation of the market and business was expanding massively. She left the ICT industry from 2011 to 2020 to expand her sales expertise into other markets (Event/Exhibition and Travel Industry) Since 2020, Silke has returned to her old roots within the ICT sector. She now works at Orange Business Services managing global companies on their expansion into new technologies, like native cloud, 5G, or cybersecurity solutions.
